FAQ
In Singapore's tropical climate, we recommend tuning your piano at least twice a year — ideally before and after the monsoon season (around April and October). High humidity causes the soundboard to swell, raising the pitch; low humidity causes it to shrink, lowering pitch. Consistent tuning keeps your piano stable and protects its long-term value.
Newly purchased pianos, recently moved pianos, or instruments that haven't been tuned in several years may need 3–4 tunings in the first year to stabilize at concert pitch (A440).
Professional piano tuning in Singapore typically ranges from S$100 to S$180 for a standard tuning. Pianos that are significantly out of tune or more than a semitone flat may require a pitch raise first, which adds to the cost and requires a follow-up tuning.
We provide transparent quotes before starting any work. Contact us via WhatsApp with your piano brand and model for an accurate estimate.
A standard piano tuning typically takes 60 to 90 minutes. If the piano requires a pitch raise, or if additional services such as minor repairs, cleaning or voicing are carried out, the appointment may take 2–3 hours.
We work methodically and never rush, ensuring every note is tuned to the correct pitch before we leave.
