1. Service Agreement

By booking a service with Singapore Piano Shop, you agree to these terms. These terms apply to all piano tuning, repair, cleaning, restoration and moving services provided by Singapore Piano Shop.

2. Bookings and Appointments

Appointments are confirmed by telephone or WhatsApp. We will provide an estimated arrival time window on the day of the appointment. If we are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as early as possible to reschedule.

Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations may incur a call-out fee of S$30.

3. Service Quotes and Pricing

For standard tuning, our pricing is communicated at the time of booking. For repair, cleaning and other services, a quote will be provided after inspection of the piano at the start of the visit. No work will begin without your agreement to the quoted price. Additional work discovered during the visit will be quoted separately before proceeding.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of each service visit. We accept Cash, PayNow and Bank Transfer. We do not accept credit card payments at this time. Invoices or receipts are available on request.

5. Guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship for 30 days following each service visit. If a specific fault recurs within 30 days of repair under normal use conditions, we will return to address it at no additional charge. This guarantee does not cover new faults unrelated to the original repair, or damage caused by misuse, accidents, or environmental factors.

Piano tuning is affected by humidity, temperature and use after the technician's visit. We cannot guarantee tuning stability, but we will advise you on the expected duration of tuning given the piano's condition and your environment.

6. Access and Safety

You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the piano for our technician. This includes clear access to the piano, adequate lighting, and a safe working environment. We reserve the right to decline or postpone work if conditions are unsafe.

7. Liability

Singapore Piano Shop will not be liable for pre-existing damage to the piano that was not caused by our technician. We take all reasonable care with your instrument during service visits. In the unlikely event of damage directly caused by our technician, we will discuss appropriate remediation.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
